Jennifer Lentner

Founder & Owner

I’m an experienced internal communication expert who loves helping leaders and companies improve how they communicate with employees as they grow and evolve. An engineer by training, I arrived in communications after time in Operations, R&D, IT, and Marketing. My unique path allows me to understand the perspective of audiences across a business.

For nearly 15 years, I built and led the communication function for a growing division of a Fortune 500 company. During that time, our business tripled in size, acquired multiple companies, and adapted to new structures and leaders.

My superpower is simplifying complex information into clear, consistent messages that employees can understand and relate to. I have experience working with executives on complicated situations such as M&A, leadership transitions, restructuring, and significant changes in the business environment. I speak their language and can help them develop and scale their communication approach.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family — we make each other laugh every day!

I found my love of running after college when I started running to stay in shape. I love the camaraderie of the running community and the feeling I’ve done something good for myself when I’m done. My current streak is over three years long!

I love to read and rarely leave a bookstore empty-handed. My ever-growing to-be-read pile is proof of my book obsession. We already have something in common if you share this love for books.

Volunteering is a significant part of my life. I am proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run of Greater Kalamazoo, the Foundation Board for my alma mater, Western Michigan University, and the Women’s Advisory Board for Sleeping Giant Capital. I also enjoy mentoring students in several programs at WMU.
